Meet the Staff

Nicole - Lead Dental Assistant

Since 1997 Nicole has been assisting with orthodontics. She says every day is a great experience. Nicole appreciates and is thankful for her work family. She loves the relationships which have been built over the years with patients and finds it so rewarding when they come back later in life with their kiddos for treatment.  When Nicole is not at work she is enjoying every posssible moment with her family and with friends.

 

Starting in 2004, Tami has been a dental assistant at our practice, helping with patients’ treatments and being available to do anything she can to give the them most rewarding orthodontic experience."Our team is so caring and thoughtful when it comes to the comfort and health of our patients, and it is an honor to be a part of such a great practice", says Tami.  When Tami is not at work you never know what she might be doing! This busy mom is a "Jack of all trades" from decorating cakes and cookies to selling Real Estate! Tami also has a husband and 2 beautiful daughters who help fill her time. 

 

Lisa - Dental Assistant

Lisa has been an assistant on the team since 2008. Lisa's skill and chairside manor always put patients at ease. 

Lisa grew up in Newton but now calls Bondurant home with her husband, Kyle and two daughters. Lisa loves her family time. Together, they enjoy their dog Mochi, being outside, going to the park, swimming and playing. 

 

Courtney - Dental Assistant

Courtney is the newest member of our IOS team and has been sharing her love of vegan food and Mad cooking skills since she joined us. Courntey loves going to concerts and festivals in her free time.

 

Hannah - Dental Assistant

Hannah joined us June, 2020. She absolutely loves what she does as an assistant and it shows. Every morning you can count on Hannah coming into the office singing a song and ready to take on the day! Her favorite part is getting to interact with the patients and families to catch up with what is new and going on with their lives.

Fun Fact for Hannah: She has climbed to the top of Everest Base camp and has gone sky diving! 

When Hannah is away from work she is usually working out or making memories with her baby girl.

 

Rhonda-Treatment Coordinator

 Rhonda is a staple at IOS. This place would not be the same without her! Starting her career in 1986, Rhonda gets the award for most days, months and years spent with Iowa Orthodontic Solutions.

I help patients with scheduling, insurance, and financial questions  to get them started on their journey of orthodontics... all with a smile. My favorite part of working here is seeing our young patients grow up into beautiful, smiling young adults right before our eyes. Our office is one of warmth and friendliness from the day of your new patient exam until the day your braces come off. It has been fun to see over the years our “kid” patients now grown and bringing their families in for braces!

Rhonda married her  “junior high sweetheart,” Steve, and they  have a very spoiled four-legged daughter, a Dalmatian named Roadster. Her  free time is spent helping her husband with his business, walking, and shopping with her two favorite nieces.

 

TeRay- Treatment Coordinator

I have been working for the practice since 1998, and I love using my experience and skills to create positive changes in our patients’ lives. It is rewarding to see how happy our patients are with their treatment, and it gives me a great sense of pride to know that I helped them throughout their orthodontic journey. I love how positive and upbeat our staff is, which makes each day fun!

At home, I am married with three children, and I love to spend all the time I can with them.

 Carrie has been with the IOS team since April, 2012 and loves her job because of the amazingly friendly and caring staff she works with. "I love being the first point of contact for new patients and their families, helping them out with all their questions, and sharing my knowledge with them as they begin their orthodontic journey." !n her free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband Craig, son Luke, and new puppy Bingo! Carrie also loves camping, animals, and traveling. 

Denise-Lab Tech

Denise has been with the practice since 1988. She has done multiple jobs throughout her career here and is currently assisting with new patients and sterilization. In her spare time she loves to golf and spend time with Tregg, her son, Drew and his family.

 

Kara- Lab Tech

Kara joined our team in March 2021 and helps with sterilization and records and helps with assisting when needed. 

When Kara is away from work you can find her keeping busy with her farm animals AKA her mini zoo, and spending time with her husband and 2 amazing boys. 

 

Brooke-Concierge

Brooke has been with IOS since 2007 filling many roles and responsibilites over the years.  She says her favorite part of her job year after year is watching patients grow up. "Some are with us for several years, others just a few, but I always enjoy watching their transitions through the years."

When Brooke is not at work she enjoys spending time with her daughter and thier dog, Charlie as well as reading, working in the yard, fishing, camping, baking, and of course just relaxing.

 

 

Jess - Concierge

Jess joined the team in March of 2023. When Jess is not working she enjoys spending time with her three kiddos Cambree, Isabelle, and Roman, spending time in the gym and travelling. 

 

Leah - Field Marketing Representative 

Leah joined Iowa Orthodontic Solutions at the start of 2023. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Northern Iowa. Leah coordinates events for the office, oversees social media accounts, and works with local schools and businesses to create educational and engaging community events. 

Outside of work Leah enjoys spending time with her two nieces, thrifting, being outdoors (especially kayaking), traveling, and trying new restaurants.

 

Hillary- Practice Director

Hillary joined the team in Jan of 2022 as the Practice Director. Her role is to oversee all operations of Iowa Orthodontic Solutions. Before joining IOS most of her career was spent in the realm of business management. When Hillary is not at work, she stays busy with her three children as well as doing a variety of non profit and community service work including advocacy work related to human rights with a focus on the LGBTQ community. Hillary sits on various local boards and is a school board member. She is a proud left hander, lover of dill pickle chips, and thrilled to lead a team of truly fantastic folks. "They really are the best of the best." says Hillary.
