Meet Dr. Nathan Hull

Nathan M. Hull, DDS, MS

Gifted with a passion for orthodontics, Dr. Nathan Hull is an experienced and skillfully trained orthodontic specialist who has been in private practice since 1992. His commitment and dedication brings his patients nothing but the highest quality of orthodontic care.

Dr. Hull understands that a person’s confidence and self-esteem are dramatically bolstered by gentle and effective orthodontic care. He has made it his life’s goal to provide his patients with the life-changing effects of excellent orthodontic treatment.


Dr. Hull began his college career on an academic scholarship to North Iowa Area Community College, where he received his Associate of Science in pre-dentistry. He went on to attend the University of Iowa on a presidential scholarship to complete his Bachelor of Science in psychology. After he completed his undergraduate work, he was accepted into the University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Hull proceeded to attend the University’s College of Dentistry to complete the orthodontic program. He received his Master of Science and his certificate of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

Continuing education

Dr. Hull understands the importance of staying as current as possible in the ever-evolving field of orthodontics. He provides his patients with the latest orthodontic treatments that best fit their unique needs and lifestyles. By holding membership in the following professional affiliations, Dr. Hull constantly attends courses that further his knowledge and understanding of the most advanced treatments in orthodontics:

Outside the office

Dr. Hull has lived in the Urbandale community since 1992. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Paula and their two daughters, Abby and Katherine. They all enjoy playing with their cat, Prance. Dr. Hull also stays active by scuba diving, skiing, swimming, playing tennis, spending time at the local golf course, and being an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan ... GO HAWKS!
