Dr. Eric Roush is an orthodontic specialist with years of experience in caring for patients who require orthodontic treatment to improve their smile and quality of life. He practiced in Ottumwa, Oskaloosa, and Pella, Iowa for 11 years before joining Drs. Langwith and Hull in 2007.
A native of Ottumwa, Dr. Roush attended the University of Iowa, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in psychology. He then entered the university’s College of Dentistry and was awarded a dental scholarship by the U.S. Navy. Dr. Roush earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1991 and began his active duty in the Navy. He served three years attached to the 1st Marine Division stationed in Twenty-Nine Palms, California. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander before concluding his military service.
After completing active duty, Dr. Roush entered the orthodontic residency program at Northwestern University where he earned his Master of Science in orthodontics in 1996. Dr. Roush returned to Ottumwa after graduation and had the distinct honor and pleasure of working alongside his father, Dr. Richard Roush, who was a practicing orthodontist for more than 30 years.
Dr. Roush believes one of the best ways to provide his patients the best care is by sharing ideas with other professionals. He is directly involved with numerous professional organizations, including:

- Iowa Society of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- Iowa Dental Association
Outside the Office
Dr. Roush resides in Urbandale with his wife and their three children. They are active members of Lutheran Church of Hope. His time away from the office is devoted to family, faith-based community service, outdoor activities, and reading.
